If it wasn't for people who raised social media to the level it was, all the users that put in energy in the form of work and investment. Think of all the money companies made that Youtubers invested into developing higher quality content. In return social media sold their information, lied to them. Stole their wealth and crashed them when they did not hold up to the standard of controlled media. If it was not for the people social media would be nothing. Yet it sold them out, facebook took their data, sold it to companies, allowed Intelligence agencies to track and monitor the audience. They even charge you now to use the site you helped launch so that people can see you. Then they can suppress you. They made everybody become addicted and now they control how often we use it. Like a crack dealer pimping his hoes, he likes to say no! Do this and you will get it?
The damage it has done, the damage it is doing to brain cells is almost a form of psychological abuse. Often times it caused people to kill themselves. Yet nothing can be attributed to this silent killer. We have to stop making excuses, and look into the actual dangers it posses.
When will be muster up and grow the guts to let our social media go once and for all!
