Is David Bowie really the King Of Pop?

Now I am not going to make that affirmation however, in the recent light of new allegations against Michael Jackson who was given that title, let me state a case from my relative truth which is not absolute.

How have we missed the fact that when it comes to most artists, David Bowie was more influential. From re-innovation, to films to song titles and writing credits. Songs like Bang Bang, transformations of GAGA and numerous female artists we see a hint of Bowie in. Has it really been raining Bowie this whole time and many people just have overlooked him. He has given way to many artists and created the model for a music career in longevity as an artist. He even played Nikola Tesla in the Prestige, being casted perfectly for a person that has established himself as label-less, so much so that perhaps no one ever thought to consider him this title. I however agree that this would still be less fitting for someone of that stature. Not only was he also ahead of his time like Tesla, Ziggy Stardust one of his perceptions of self was probably out of this world. Playing some of the most iconic characters from may childhoods ago, he forever lives through many artist to this day and will continue to do so.

All the highest,

Mr. Everything
