For many years we have had one singular view on what slavery is, a picture of a man in chains, restricted and we have said, "well slavery has ended." Is that True, Mr. Everything questions that like he does to everything. What does it mean to be a slave?
Can a person be conditioned to accept their own slavery? When a person is an addict, are they not a slave to their addiction, thus a slave to the source of addiction. A neuro-chemical hack. So what does this mean? Is slavery merely physical or does it all begin mentally? Surely everything can be attributed to the mental. So why do we not start there?
Can a man who is in prison while chained, who has a free mind, be truly enslaved?
Can a man who is presumably free, but under the influences of habits and patters, attached to their phone or the ideology of others truly be free? Can the mind become a prison, an isolation that a person keeps while they do not communicate with those around them? Is a person in a group of thousands, while isolated from these people in company of others, especially if in their mind they cannot relate with others? Look around you, are you free? Are those around you free? Can you get away from your phone completely without the habit of having to turn it on? Can you sit there quietly and not be distracted?
On the contrary there are more slaves on this planet now, and they are in the billions. Why have none of you noticed, well how often do you look at the sky or each other? How often do you keep contact? Do you keep your head down? Do you not see that the phone is making you stupid? Making you loose your memory and your functions and that the phone is wirelessly connected to you! Do you not know that you have to use your brain in order to function! Retardation is essentially functions of the brain that have no connections. Are we making ourselves retarded, have you not seen that this has already happened to us?
