Have we lost the ability to do things with our hands? How important is it to shape objects into existence? Are computers replacing this function? Can all aspects of human health be subdued by convenience?
Let's take a look! As we have talked about in previous posts and the podcast meditation in action the brain can rewire itself, it does in mishaps like autism and brain tumors that cause blindness at birth. In each of these cases the brain has shown the ability to rewire itself, strenghtening the learning functions in each section of the brain this was allocated. Can the same happen in the direction of the lack of use and can this be accelerated to self inflicted damage and brain, deterioration? Or basically can the brain be in a state of erosis. This word does not exist in the dictionary yet so let me explain. Erosis is the reverberation of erosion, which means to continue the erosion indefinitely into periods of time. Let me explain, our brain is water, salt, ion's and it responds best when we are not rigid, or fixed but fluid. Not holding on to too much baggage, and a brain that is free from the past or can get over things quickly will function with all neurons in tact and ready to take on whatever needs the energy next. A rigid mind will become irate, not used to change, become old and bitter and withered away due to endless chatter of the brain. It is common for senility to come at a later age in life when the brain has stopped learning and has become fixed in the position, stances and thoughts on life. Although this is irrefutable in visibility at a later age, does this start earlier in life and noticeable later on?
Let's take a look? What is art and why do we have hands? As an artist who shapes
movements, expressions, that come in fluid movements capable of bending perception into something not in existence and then bring it into existence our of form. Not only are these expression of the brain but they are actions which cannot be replicated twice in the same way? This is a non-fixed process, in fact it's not a process at all. So what does this mean to the brain?
The fibonacci sequence is found in all nature, it's the sequential building block of all existence, from the bone structure, the face, the flowers, the trees, the electricity. So if our brain is a conductor, then perhaps, just perhaps we need to get the juices flowing again by doing something to sustain that? Cause after all the computer is not capable of giving you joy. Fun is when we do something spontaneous and unexpected, when events occur with our own pre-meditation. Why not go and visit a embroidery near you and learn a skill that grows and heals the cells. Brings the brain into relation with itself. Have a laugh with a loved one over some sill new experiences, mishaps, be formless, shapeless, shape both the cup and fill it with the water that can take it on, be water!
